What We Are
What we are
Our research interest is on development of electrochemical energy storage devices, particularly 1) novel electrode materials, 2) superior electrolyte, and 3) assessment of the reaction mechanism. Through multi-angle experimental approaches with flexible eyes to the various synthetic and analytical (structural, thermodynamic, electrochemical, etc) methodology, we have shed light on the essential factors influencing or dominating the materials function. These effort has led to the great improvement of the function as well as to the discoveries of new materials. Our research policy is exploring the exciting interdisciplinary area between science and engineering, the knowledge from which would be the important standard for many of the researchers in the field. Our publications, indeed, can be found in the high-level journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, etc.
